This workshop is designed to explore first how God can do deep work in us through the chaos and tumult of stormy life seasons and then learn the tactical elements of how to write God-glorifying, congregational worship songs. Songs are often birthed in the pain, trials, and testing of our faith. 2020 was a year like none other and Hannah wrote more songs than she had in over a decade. She believes there is a direct correlation between being desperate for God, aware of our need for Him, fully surrendering to the work of His Spirit and our ability to write songs that strengthen the church and point people to Jesus.
Hannah Riddle has been leading worship for 20 years. Since high school, she has taught middle and high school choirs, directed youth camps, and written worship songs. Hannah lives near Eugene, Oregon, with her wonderful husband Jonathan and their three sweet kids: Nina (age 10), Lucie (age 8), and Camden (age 5). She now serves as a worship pastor at Mannahouse, a church known for its worship and songwriting, at the Eugene campus. She is currently working on recording and finishing several songs written in last year’s chaotic pandemic. Hannah loves to encourage and raise young worship leaders and see them released to function in all their gifting! She also has a passion for writing songs that point people to Jesus and exalt Him!
